Share access to download STATA with your students

Instructions for sharing links with your student to download STATA installation files and documentation.

1. Open the link https://files.education.tamu.edu in your browser, and login with your NetID credentials.
2. Expand the details panel by either right-clicking on the "Stata 17" folder, or clicking the ellipsis next to the folder, and selecting "Details" from the context menu.

   

3. Click the "Sharing" tab in the "Stata 17" details panel, enter the email address of the person you are sharing with, and hit the Enter/Return key to send email to the recipient with a link and password to download the version of STATA they prefer to install.

   

4. Repeat step 3 as necessary to send links to other email addresses.
