Note: Claiming a Texas A&M Google Apps account does NOT affect your e-mail settings. However, if you do want to use your A&M GMail account, you can do so by setting @tamu.edu to netid@email.tamu.edu.
Google Apps for Education at Texas A&M includes GMail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Hangouts, and a few other things. To claim your Google Apps account,
- Go to https://services.tamu.edu/email-settings/. (You will need to login with your NetID / password.)

- Select the radio button next to "I would like to claim a Texas A&M Google Apps account" [fig. 02] and then click Save.

3. After Claiming your A&M Google Account, go back to https://google.tamu.edu and click "Login to Google Drive" to activate your G-Drive.
Once this is done you have Texas A&M Google Apps Account.
