To begin a Google hangouts video call, follow the instructions below.
- First go to google.com.
- On the top right corner, click on '+you' to login.
- Login to your Google account.
- After logging in, it will direct you to the Google+ page.
- On the right side of the Google+ page, all your contacts will be listed. Click on the contact that you wish to video call.
- Finally click on the video button to begin the video call.
To download the Google hangouts plugin, follow the instructions below.
- If you do not have the hangouts plugin downloaded, you will not be able to begin your video call until you have done so.
- Click on install plugin.
- Double-click GoogleVoiceAndVideoSetup.dmg in the Download window
- Once it has downloaded, Google hangouts will verify the installation and continue with the video call.
Google Hangouts settings
When you enter a video call, a menu will appear at the top of the call. This menu will allow you to add peple to the call, mute and unmute your microphone, turn the camera on and off, control your volume, adjust the call settings, and end the call.
